How do I find the Police Station?
The Police Station is located at 10 Mansfield Drive, Byram Township. From Route 206, turn right or left onto Lackawanna Drive (County Route 607) Landmark- Lakeland Bank. Travel approximately 9/10ths of a mile and turn right onto Mansfield Drive. Turn Right into the Municipal Complex Landmark- Byram Museum on right. The Police Station is clearly marked at the far end of the building. Click here to get directions.

Can I pay a traffic summons at the Police Station?
No. Traffic summonses, fines and payments must be made directly to the Court Administrator. That office is located in the front of the Municipal Complex near the Tennis Courts. The Court Administrator may be reached at (973) 347-3612. Summonses may also be paid over the internet at http://www.judiciary.state.nj.us/atswep/njmcdirectmain. The Byram Township Police Department appoints all new officers from the New Jersey Department of Personnel Eligibility List, preference is given to Byram residents. Watch the D.O.P. Web site, http://www.state.nj.us/csc/ for test announcements. When an entry level test is announced applications may be obtained at the Byram Police station or at any County Library.
When can I pick up a police report?
At Police Headquarters, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. & 4:30 p.m. If you wish to pick up reports after business hours, you must call ahead (973-347-4008) and make arrangements with the Records Bureau. Please note that the Records Bureau is closed on weekends and holidays.
